INCIPIENT FIRE BRIGADE TRAINING
This class is an 8 hour training program designed specifically for incipient fire brigade members. Comprehensive classroom training and practical skills (hands-on) exercises will assist in preparing personnel for the challenges of fighting incipient fires in the workplace.
This training will be conducted consistent with the requirements established by the following documents: OSHA 29 CFR 1910.156, NFPA 600 Standard on Industrial Fire Brigades, and NFPA 1081 Standard for Industrial Fire Brigade Member Professional Qualifications. Attendees will gain a detailed understanding of fires in the workplace and learn safe and efficient techniques for the control of the fires. Through classroom and hands-on fire training activities, students will develop a better understanding of how an organized firefighting effort can control losses, protect property, and save lives.
Who Should Attend: Conducted to benefit all incipient fire brigade members from entry level personnel through fire brigade leaders.
Class will be instructed by Professional Firefighters.
